44th IUPAC Word Chemistry Congress and the 47th IUPAC General Assembly. Istanbul, Turkey, between August 11-16, 2013

Dear Colleagues,

As members of the Turkish Chemical Society, it is our great pleasure to invite colleagues to the 44th IUPAC Word Chemistry Congress and the 47th IUPAC General Assembly. The congress is organized by the Turkish Chemical Society and will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, between August 11-16, 2013.

The main topic of the congress is “Clean Energy Through Chemistry”. According to our plan, the talks and subtopics will be decided upon by a greater scientific committee consisting of members from all IUPAC National Adhering Organizations and members from the divisions of IUPAC. We believe the wide collaboration of this larger scientific committee will increase overall scientific cooperation and the success of the meetings.

In addition to the scientific program, participants will have free time to explore the city of Istanbul which offers wonderful opportunities. We invite all participants to take advantage of the early bird registration and to participate in the city tour of Istanbul, as well as the Bosphorus Channel tour by boat.

We sincerely look forward to sharing a very successful congress and an enjoyable time with you in Istanbul.
